Mark O'Brien
Principal
Admitted as a solicitor in 1976. Mark has extensive experience in representing and providing
advice to many successful small to medium business enterprises. Mark's clients are
businesses involved in areas such as manufacturing, exporting, direct selling, fund raising,
property acquisition and management, retirement villages, schools and not for profit organisations.
He has a particular area of interest and practice experience in workplace health and safety.
He is also an experienced litigator and seeks to
provide advice focused on achieving practical commercial outcomes
for clients in a litigation context if necessary.

Justine Ball
Admitted in March 1996. Justine's experience is in general commercial
litigation, Building and Construction Law (especially Subcontractor's Charges and Building & Construction Industry
Payments Act) and commercial drafting.
Since joining O'Briens Lawyers in 2002, Justine has dealt with the majority of our building and construction dispute matters (for builders and subcontractors), along with a broad range of commercial litigation matters including breach of contract claims, negligence, misleading and deceptive conduct and breach of statutory warranty. In addition, Justine does debt collection matters (for creditor or debtor) in both Queensland and interstate jurisdictions, including bankruptcy and winding up actions.
